Thermal springs flow approximately 1 million gallons of water daily at 143 degrees F at Hot Springs Mountain. Along with many kid friendly attractions, this is the place to go.

The birthplace of Wal-Mart is in Bentonville. Sam Walton wanted a way to help people save money and that he did. The original Wal-Mart still exists on the town square. Although now a Visitor's Center, a museum of collectables are on display.

Oh yeah, one important word of advice, watch out for the bears! Bears? in Arkansas campgrounds? Yes, you will find black bears at some campgrounds. If you do encounter a bear, please keep your pet on a leash and keep him from scaring the bear. They tend to attack when excited. Another thing, keep your food inside your camper and don't feed the bears. Food will attract them and once you welcome them to eat with you, they may not leave. If approached by a bear, you can scare it off by making noises or swinging your arms around. Please do not run from the bear. They normally will not go around a human unless they have found something to eat or they are threatened.
