The Right Bicycling Clothing Is Essential For Safety, Protection and Fun

Bicycling clothing is just as important as your helmet. What you wear depends on your safety and protection, from the limbs across the path to the bumps of riding along the riding trails. You need to have the proper protective gear for your body.

Men and women have different styles of bike clothing. Both have specially designed biking shorts and shirts to ride in. It depends on where you ride and how long you ride as to what kind of clothing to wear.

Comfort is an important factor in riding long distances. You don't want your legs to feel like the circulation is cut off when you ride. You need to feel relaxed and comfortable at all times.

Your helmet needs to fit securely and tightened for comfort. Protecting your head in case of a fall is vitally important, so don't skimp on the price of a helmet. Your body protection is more important than a price tag. Get the best for your money.

Make sure you wear some kind of Safety Vest with Reflective Strips bicycling clothing, so you will be seen at night.

If you are planning to ride along the highways, be sure you carry some bottled water and take frequent breaks along the way. The weather is also a determining factor for you own safety.

The clothing you choose should keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Look for the temperature label in the clothing to see if it will meet your needs.

I found this long sleeved shirt for all those women out there who are working on their Love Handles whether toning them down or just plain proud of them. Check it out and you will know what I'm talking about!

Kids Just Want To Have Fun, But Parents Want Safe Fun

Children don't like to be bound up! They just want to ride in their jeans and tennis shoes, which is fine around the park area. Just make sure their helmet fits properly and they are marked with some type of reflective gear.

Another recommendation is to wear a reflective vest or cap. You can find them with the reflective tape already made onto it or you could get the iron on patches. Just a few minutes of your time, may save a person's life.

Children generally are with an adult when riding on the roads, so keep your eyes open and your attention on them when you are riding in your vehicle. They don't think to look for you, because they are having so much fun!

Most bicycles have reflectors on the wheels and sides of the bicycle. Make sure these reflectors are not broken and are in good condition.

Some shoes have a reflective design on them. These are great for kids to wear at night even when they are not riding their bicycles. Even walking or playing, they can be seen by the lights of a vehicle reflecting them.

The reflective tape on them comes in different colors. Make sure the shoes you choose have a large area covered with the taping.

Safety and protection equals fun, so be sure everyone has a good time and has something on to reflect vehicle lights. Wearing light colored clothing at night will help with visibility.

A vest with reflective tape on it is also something to think about. I know most kids would not want to wear a vest, but you can sew some reflective tape along the bottom of their shirts in the back.

Flashlights are good, and a good thing for you to have, but not enough in the dark. Have fun riding your bicycle and be sure the clothing is the correct kind!

Make sure that your clothing does not interfere with the pedals. You don't want to get tripped up on strings or loose material.

Here is a cute bodysuit for an Old School Baby who is proud of his bicycle riding. Check it out!!
