Bumper Pull Campers Are Popular and Functional, With SUV or Truck

Bumper pull campers are seen on every road or highway, in every town and in every campground. These are very popular and functional. If you are looking for a great travel trailer that is lightweight, yet roomy, here it is!

These can be towed with either an SUV or truck. Be sure to tell your RV dealer what you plan to pull your camper with so you will look at the ones in your towing range.

Not all campers are made alike. Some are made of fiberglass. Some aluminum. Yet some are heavier than others. They all are wonderful travel trailers. You can choose from a wide variety of floor plans. Some include slide-outs.

This gives you extra space inside your camper. Be sure to give your slide out room to extend and not hit your electrical box or water outlet.

You will need an extra 5 feet or so clearance. Watch your parking distance as you back it in. As you can see the slide-out on this camper is extended. Look at the room it provides from a look on the inside. You will love the inside floor space you have when this is out.

Another thing to remember, keep the tracks cleaned of debris. It is easier to slide if it is clean. Road dust and water can trap dirt around the mouldings and cause it not to seal good. Always check the inside of the camper before allowing the slide out to park inside.

Keep clothes, toys, rugs and pillows away from the area. These could hang and cause damage. You will love this feature so take care to keep it working.

If you are looking for a great, easy to tow, highly functional, roomy, lightweight and priced right travel trailer, then you can find it! There are magazines that offer much advice on buying a camper of any kind.

Read them and find out about all types of campers. It will give you information along with tips and techniques to help you with the purchase and upkeep of your camper.

You can buy a bumper pull camper from a dealer or just from an individual. Most new campers will be free of damage or trouble areas.

If you decide to buy a camper from a dealership, be sure to ask about any damaged areas that have been repaired prior to selling it. If you buy from an individual, please inspect it very carefully.

You will be glad you asked about hidden damage you may not see. Read through books and then go looking and do a through inspection yourself. You can save yourself several hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars from hidden damage.

If you are planning to travel, you could use a traveler's guide. You can get one at Wal-Mart. It will show you where to find Interstate Rest Areas, Dump Station Locator.

This is one of the greatest books to have if you plan to travel long distances.

If you like to keep up with your travel experiences, get you a notebook with divider tabs. You can keep up with your mileage and expenses. Some software for traveling will keep you on track with everything. It will help you with your travel "bookeeping" about your trip.
