The Campground Swimming Area Brings You A "Cool" Way To Enjoy The Heat
A campground swimming area offers a great splash of fun and cooling down from the sun and will bring a great relief to the heat during the summer dog days of camping. This swimming area is not a large body of water.
It is usually a small extension of the lake on which the campground is located on. The swimming area will have a sandy beach.
In the summer months, you will find people around the beach at all times. Be warned, most campground swimming areas do not offer a life guard service. Be sure to go swimming with an experienced swimmer. Never go alone.
Accidents happen even to the best of us. Taking a walkie-talkie to the swimming area is a great idea for you to communicate with your family.
You can alert someone if there is an emergency. Remember that thunderstorms can pop up anytime in the heat of the day. Get out of the water if a storm is upon you. Lightening will strike during a storm. Listen to your weather radio before going to swim.
You will need so much stuff to take when going to the swimming area. You will need everything beach related such as a beach towel, a beach blanket, life vests, and an umbrella. I can think of a lot of other things, but you know what you will need. A plastic tote bag is a handy item to carry everything in.
For shade on the beach, you can have your own beach umbrella. You can find these reasonably priced at any department store. They are adjustable for height, also. Make sure to stake them in the ground deep enough to keep the wind from blowing them around.
Of course you will need a beach chair, or outdoor chair that is durable for water use. A fold up chair is ideal as it will be easier to carry. You can even take a self supporting hammock and enjoy laying off the sand.
Be sure to put on plenty of sunblock. That sun will cook your skin. Sun exposure will damage your skin. Take care of yourself and be sure to put it on at least 30 minutes before getting in the water.
After you are finished swimming, use the outdoor campground swimming area shower to rinse all the lake residue off your body. The bacteria in the water is not healthy, so be sure to rinse from your hair to your feet.
The beach, or campground swimming area is a great place to take your metal detector. You would be surprised at what you could find buried in the sand. I took mine and all I found was can tabs! Oh well, it was fun anticipating what I could have found.
I have heard of people finding jewelry, coins and precious metals. If you do find a coin and want to know what it is, or you just collect coins, you will want to find out about your coin collection. You may have found something of great value and don't even know it.
You would not believe all the different coins. You may find some of these coins and you can look them up and know their value, or you may choose to buy some of these amazing collector editions.
There are fishing areas you can go to, also. You can find hiking trails all out in the woods. Always use the buddy system anytime you leave the campground area.
Keep in touch with someone in the campground and carry a flashlight with you in your backpack just in case you are having so much fun that you lose track of time. The sun goes down quickly.
If you are wanting a campground swimming area beach wedding, this is a great place to get all the benefits of a natural wedding. There are many books and websites for you to find useful information on what you will need and how to use it. Oh and by the way, best wishes!
