You will not find a Walmart close by unless you go to Kosciusko or Jackson. Those cities are about an hour or so away. This park offers easy access to Interstate 55. The convenient location and diverse outdoor recreational amenities make this campground a favorite get away place. It has a wooden floor skating rink. A great place to get out and walk, picnic, have family gatherings or just go sit by the water and enjoy the day.

The following area attractions are located within a short drive. The park staff will be happy to provide you with directions. If you need to get to a town with plenty of shopping, you can get to Kosciusko within 45 minutes and Jackson within 1 hour. There are also other towns that neighbor this wonderful park. Holmes County State Park is nestled back in the back woods and is full of beautiful scenery. You will want to have your camper with you to get the picturesque shots of the sunrise and sunset on the water.
