Iowa Campgrounds Bring You Fun and Adventure, Activities, Museums, ParksIowa campgrounds have much to offer when you go camping in the campground of your choice. You can find many museums, zoos, aquariums, attractions, opera houses, festivals, fairs and theme parks. Find much to do and enjoy every moment you can. When you want to visit a Theme Park, you can find one in all areas. Going to Altoona? Visit AdventureLand USA. How about Dubuque, then you gotta go to Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark. If Arts are your thing, there are numerous Symphony Orchestras in Cedar Rapids, Opera Houses in Dubuque and Theatres in this Hawkeye State. Love zoos and aquariums? You will have the time of your life at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque. Attractions are plentiful. Start with the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum in West Branch. Like John Wayne, visit John Wayne's Birthplace in Winterset. Want to see a mansion, go to Salisbury House & Gardens in Des Moines. Festivals are plentiful. You have a choice of jazz festivals, arts festivals, music festivals, even visit a Touch of Holland in Pella and the Swamp Fox Festival in Marion. Fairs are going on all the time like the State Fair in Des Moines in August. September hosts the Clay County Fair in Spencer. The Great Jones County Fair in Monticello is in July.
