Louisiana Campgrounds, Close to Mardi Gras, Alligator Attractions, Bayous, Home of Famous People



Louisiana Campgrounds are plentiful and so is the attractions. You will find this state with arms wide open for entertainment. Just get out your map, close your eyes and pick a spot. Anywhere you point to will bring fun and activities.

Louisiana brings the famous Mardi Gras. This festival is a yearly event with parades, parties and beads galore. New Orleans is full of excited tourists each year just wanting to experience the life of the Bayou. With musical entertainment, arts and crafts, French Quarter cuisine and year round festivals, you'd better start your planning today reserving your spot at the Louisiana Campground of your choice.

Starting in October, you will want to plan for the Andouille Festival bringing delectable sausage. The Annual Film Festival in New Orleans is a city wide activity which features films and videos by filmakers from all over. If you love art, you will want to make your way to the Art for Art's Sake day. Here you will find a gallery of art lovers. There are many more to visit.

In April, you will find the Angola Prison Rodeo also known as "The Wildest Show in the South". This event is put on by the inmates at the Angola Prison. If you like music, shopping, food and rodeos, you are in for a treat. For two weekends, you can enjoy the Annual Spring Fiesta at Jackson Square in the French Quarter.

Come in May to take part in the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. The first week in May promises lots of music and Cajun food, music, crafts, crawfish racing, eating, and dancing.
