Pickensville Campground, A Great Hideaway For Anytime

Google

Pickensville Campground is located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway. This enormous hideaway has 176 sites with electricity and water hookups. Some sites have sewer hookups.

Among the many activities available, the barges are a great attraction. You will find hunters, fishermen and of course, those water lovers who ski. If you look around, you may find some adorable wildlife to see. Of course, your camera and binoculars are always with you, for those just in case incidents. Pickensville Campground is located in the state of Alabama. You will enjoy the Visitor Center just outside the campground. Some important information about it:

  • You will find this to be a clean, inviting and fun place to camp and will want to return again. We have stayed there several times and have many wonderful memories of the campground. The water is crystal clear and the beach area is clean.

You can see the swimming area from the overpass bridge. This would make a great picture for your scrapbook. The flowers that are around the swimming area are gorgeous. We found some purple ones that were in among the water lillies.

The picnic areas are large enough to host day gatherings and maybe even family reunions. You will be well pleased with the whole feel of this extension of the camp area.

Visit Pickensville Campground year round. You will be pleased with your stay.
